As Director of the Counter Terrorism Division, I am responsible for both the daily leadership and management of the division. Additionally, I am responsible for:

• Establishing long term strategic plans and policies to meet the challenges of an evolving threat landscape
• Developing, maintaining, and expanding relationship and partnerships with a wide-range of diverse internal and external partner
• Establishing and maintaining robust training capacity to address basic, advance, and continuing education requirements
• Training and developing subordinate leadership
• Identifying, codifying, and operationalizing short and long-term staffing and budget requirements
• Developing and implementing key legal, privacy, and operaitonal policies

• Responsible for designing and implementing a specialized team focused on the use of open source information to support tactical and strategic law enforcement intelligence, case-support, and enforcement operations requirements
• Responsible for providing strategic direction, goals, and long term requirements
• Developed and led the development of legal guidance and agency policy(s) in this unique, often controversial, environment
• Forecast, developed, and managed complex staffing and budget proposals
• Led and managed the development and implementation of a robust technology identification, evaluation, and acquisition/procurement capability to support rapidly evolving agency requirements
• Regularly collaborated with a wide-range of diverse internal and external stakeholders and customers

• One-year detail to DHS Joint Task Force for Investigations
• Managed and supervised the identification and subsequent execution of over 20 national-level criminal investigations
• Provided startegic guidance and direction to planning and operations teams

• Director of the 120-person Analysis Division within the CBP Office of Intelligence and Investigative Liaison
• Provided leadership, guidance, and strategic direction to subordinate managers, to include establishing the strategic goals, objectives, and priorities for the division.
• Managed the daily (24x7) operations and led the strategic development of a complex intelligence division comprised of multiple units, to include: the Commissioner’s Situation Room, the Tactical Intelligence Cell, and the National Intelligence Watch, and the Commissioner's Briefing Team.
• Led the development and implementation of an improved daily intelligence briefing process for the Commissioner and other senior leadership of the agency.
• Established, maintained, and expanded robust liaison relationships with a wide-range of Federal, state, and local agencies, foreign governments, and private sector partners.
• Provided strategic leadership, guidance, and approval for the development and implementation of numerous formal and informal training programs for both internal and external customers.
