  • To be clear I mostly served as a Heavy Equipment Operator during my time in the service, however I was tasked with and paid to complete a number of paintings for the Navy. One that I know of still stands today at Camp Lemmonier, DJibouti Africa.

Accomplishments

Won first place for best art gallery two years in a row 2020 and 2021 and third place in 2022. The Monterey County Herald Peoples Choice Award. Monterey County boasts more than 36 museums and 120 art galleries and art associations in the runnings for these awards.

In 2022 I spent three months in midtown Manhattan studying at The Art Students League of New York. I became the class monitor for the cityscape class, as well as dedicating a fulltime schedule during the week and the weekend to figurative painting with Mary Beth Mckenzie and Dan Gheno.
