I oversee the operations of hotel and staff. I am a "hands on" manager who works along side my team. My responsibilities include: Customer Service: Problem solving; Hiring, Training Coaching and Counseling my employees; Maintaining the operating budget, Increasing revenue, minimizing costs; Invoicing; Yield management Preparing and submitting reports Cooperating with the sales director to promote the hotel.
During this time period I took leave from working in the public sector and had the privilege to work as my mother's full time caregiver. My mother suffers from dementia and immobility.
I oversaw the operations of the hotel and staff. My duties included all that are mentioned above in my current position at the Cobblestone Hotel. In addition since this hotel was part of the Splash Lagoon Resort Complex I worked with the water park sales team, management and staff to create water park packages.
I assisted the general manager in the operations of the hotel. In addition I was the Director of services for the Ambassador Complex which included the Conference center, the Hilton Garden Inn and the Courtyard by Marriott. prior to this I served as the Office Supervisor of the Hilton, where I was responsible for the operations of the Front desk.
