Senior Analyst and Talent Management Advisor

Advisor to the head of enterprise talent management and optimization for Chevron. Primary responsibilities include executive succession management, talent pool identification and development, and technology and process improvement for both succession management and enterprise internal mobility. Serve a diverse audience, from the C-Suite to the broad employee population.


Key Achievements:

  • Led the implementation of our next-gen executive succession management program, standardizing templates and workflows while building a fully-automated data pipeline and reporting system.
  • Developed and interactive job library for internal postings, automating data flows from WD through the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver the 5th most-visited dashboard in Chevron (out of over 160K)
  • Ideated and led the PDC Reimagination project, focused on reducing inefficiency and elevating the user experience for key stakeholders of internal mobility. Results included a 75% reduction in job off cycle time, 50% reduction in requisition posting time, and a 25% increase in user satisfaction score for digital systems supporting internal mobility.

Sponsor Group (Talent Management) Data Analyst

Lead data science and analytics for the Sponsor Group (Talent Management & Internal Mobility). Responsible for developing people analytics and related visualizations and tools pertaining to functional PDC (Personnel Development Committee) activities, and other talent management data and initiatives.


Key Achievements:

  • Responsible for Sponsor Group Data Ecosystem. Built/updated and published multiple data visualization tools (Power BI). Product owner & developer for over 10 fully automated reports, including two of the top 25 (out of 100K+) most-used dashboards published in Chevron out of 100K+ (Internal Mobility, Promotions) at the time

    - Co-led the expatriate review project in 2021 for report out to the executive leadership. Involved multiple engagements with BU and HR leadership (VP/MD's, HR GM's), compiling and analyzing the data, and reporting out key themes and proposed actions to Business, and HR Leadership.

    -Responsible for bi-annual internal mobility report-outs to the executive leadership, including the CEO

    - Developed forecasting model to assess health of the Executive Potential talent pipeline. Data outcomes presented to Operating Co. Presidents (CEO +2)

Lead Drilling Engineer - Permian Basin

  • Responsible for planning, design, and execution of drilling operations on designated well pads for Chevron's Permian Basin assets (MCBU). Accountable for over $20MM of capital spend.
  • Developed comprehensive well designs and cost estimates to optimize production rates and reduce operational costs.
  • Established strong relationships with regulatory agencies and other external parties to maintain compliance with all applicable rules and guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead Drilling Engineer - Thermal Diatomite

Responsible for planning and execution of Intercept, Production, and Temperature Observation wells. Responsible for $30MM+ in spend. Involved coordinating subsurface groups, business partners, and regulatory agencies to develop plans for complex abandonments. Designed and planned operations for industry-record well for extended reach ratio (Total Depth / Vertical Depth).

Completions & Intervention Engineer

Plan and execute wide array of completions and interventions projects, including rigless activities, across multiple asset classes in both thermal EOR and waterflood environments. Served as the business unit subject matter expert (SME) on both Wellheads and Well Control Equipment.


  • Responsible for tens of millions of dollars in asset retirement spend through complex abandonments of current and legacy assets.
  • Realized reduction of over $500M worth of avoided reabandonment costs by providing technical justification for isolation on wells initially flagged by the regulatory agency
  • Developed optimization algorithm for rigless activity prioritization, which brought forward over 1000 BOPD of lost production to be prioritized and executed.
  • Led the effort to certify the entire workover and intervention rig fleet against API Standard 53. Developed both well control SOP's and business unit technical standards to ensure operations were designed for control and guaranteed containment.

Drill & Well Site Manager

  • Supervised a variety of workover and drilling operations from injector-to-producer conversions to complex abandonments in thermal diatomite operations.
  • Worked on both automated and conventional drilling rigs, supervising the drilling of approximately 100 new wells consisting of mostly high-angle horizontal wells and vertical injectors and producers. During my tenure, E532 executed all of the top 10 fastest horizontal wells drilled in the basin at the time
