Leadership award for leading my team 1st cell to hit customer demands

My team and I was awarded at the yearly leadership awards for being the 1st area in all of global P&W to hit MRP on all 4 N.E.O (Next Engine Option) parts. By working with my associates and team members closely we were able to meet our customer demands. This event was hosted in Connecticut at the leadership ctr., with multiple other leadership teams in attendance. As a 1st shift Cell leader I had to do the part, machine and operator scheduling for all shifts, walk my lines, work on getting problems fixed immediately that were hampering the lines performance. As my team and I worked through some of the daily issues, I empowered my employees by letting them make some decisions on their own or work with other more knowledgeable employees. I would talk to them when decisions had to be made during my multiple line walks were being done daily. This created a very diverse team that could work through their problems when I am not around. This is why the team was successful in meeting / exceeding our customer demands.
