Regional Environmental Health Safety Manager – Logistics (2016-2018)

• Regional Manager for Amazon Logistics (AMZL), responsible for the safety of Delivery Stations throughout the southwest US region including up to 16 AMZL sites; participated in site safety tours and routine audits to measure compliance with EHS procedures; developed effective Safety Action Plan.
• Supported management’s efforts to ensure compliance with Corporate Safety Program expectations and applicable Federal and State laws. Identified and informed management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly, and monthly audits.
• Led the implementation for AMZL’s worldwide CO Exhaust design standard.
• Audited station build-out plans, inspected the construction of new delivery station, and partnered with stakeholders for successful launch.

Environmental Health and Safety Manager (2015-2016)

• Developed two Seasonal OMRs into full-time team members, 1 Seasonal Safety Specialist to a permanent Safety Specialist, and 1 Safety Specialist into a Site Safety Manager.
• Responsible for the safety of over 5,000 associates at a cross-dock warehouse operation leading 10 direct and 28 indirect Safety Specialists, On-Site Medical Representatives, Waste Team Members, and Associate Safety Committee Members
• Created and executed leadership development plans for Safety Associates & OMRs. Communicated to Safety Associates and OMRs the expectations and gave frequent and appropriate feedback to ensure they were executing to the core competencies of an Amazon safety professional.
