• Scrap Reduction - Mazda Wagon D-Pillars off location that are assembled in the Mazda body sides . Installed rough guides to locate parts in the fixture that would not allow any movement before entering the welding process. This resulted in zero defects after the prove out phase and a cost reduction of over a $100,000. Complete body in white vehicles were being scrapped before this process was initiated.
