As a 17 year veteran of the Chilton County Road Department I have come a long way. From the days of filling in potholes to the days of filling in for the Forman of the Right of Way crew when he was absent. I spent my first two years "floating" from crew to crew and from machine to machine working where ever I was needed. Then, I feel like I found my second home with the "Bushhog Crew". After a few years in the sign truck carrying the crew, the tools and the mowers ahead signs I got an opportunity to run a tractor and I haven't looked back since. This crew gets into everything, when winter rolls around we could be repairing bridges, putting up street signs, or assisting other crew with their larger projects and much more. Never a dull moment and that's what I like. I am always willing to learn new things and am eager to share what I know. I'm currently studying for my CDL Class A licenses having passed my permit test and the school provided by the county and am awaiting my appointment at the DMV. I have grown as a leader over the years and look forward to progressing in my career with the road department.
