Responsibilities include supporting the Outlet Leader with day to day operations, championing the outlet merchandising and presentation standards, implementing all corporate and outlet based training webinars, pinpointing hiring opportunities with fellow leadership team members, scheduling and payroll control, ensuring gross margin and profitability parameters are met, elevating all aspects of the outlet (right people, elevating service standards, promoting teamwork for efficiency/safety, processes to coordinate improved product processing) and leading the team in living our company vales and beliefs.

Primary responsibilities were consistent with job title: overseeing all aspects of HR (spearheading hiring, training and coaching), setting the standards for associate performance, building the team, implementing seasonal floor sets per plan-o-grams, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, establishing community relations (other retailers, restaurants), controlling operational standards and productivity (inventory management).

This was a temporary position and location that was opened for the purpose of liquidating excess inventory. Primary goal was to liquidate excess aged product while maintaining corporate goals for gross margin profit and expense control budgets. Built a great team that embraced a temporary situation, lived the company values and beliefs and exceeded corporate goals.
