  • Worked closely with American Modern (the carrier) to help them develop what they needed for claims and a data feed.
  • Just prior to implementation, Munich Re (American Modern's parent company) let them know that they wouldn't provide them the budget to finish development. Essentially ending the program.

  • Combined ratio for every year ranged from 75 to 93.

  • Ran the hiring process for both new college graduates and external experienced candidates.
  • Appointed and developed nearly 100 new Westfield agency relationships.
  • Evaluated all other agency relationships and terminated one's where it was necessary.
  • Rehabilitated numerous agency relationships.
  • Maintained positive relationships with key internal stakeholders such as actuarial and processing.
  • Retired from Westfield after 33 years of combined service.

  • Led the department through a difficult transition of management systems. The department was 1 year behind processing premium audits when I took over and 1 year later we were caught up.
