Manage a $25M value Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) program for USTRANSCOM overseeing 35+ cross-functional FTEs (Leidos and Subcontractors) in support of a complex IT DoD transportation system. This is a large 18,000 user system, in a cross domain solution (CDS), encompassing four unclassified and two classified environments (IL5/6) which processes over 650 million transactions monthly at each site globally, and 980 transaction types received from more than 65 source systems.

  • Advised leadership weekly on streamline opportunities and communication enhancements. Recommended the consolidation of the DISA recommended Citrix solution, which reduced the number of Citrix instances within a site and the redundant sites (LSA, HSP). Recommendation resulted in a cost savings of approximately $300,000 up front and $600,000 per year for the IGC Program.
  • Effectively manage cost monthly to include Estimate at Completion (EAC), schedule, resources, and quality to meet or exceed all program requirements.
  • Implemented digital modernization efforts resulting in cost efficiencies. Prepared and deployed 28 Major releases and 4 Emergency releases on schedule and within budget.
  • Provided project management for an additional 46 CPFF efforts to comply with technical refreshes and COTs upgrades.
  • Led the team in increasing CPAR score trends from FY2021 to FY2024.
  • Consistently exceeded system availability requirement of 99.58% for Fiscal Years 2021-2025, to include data latency requirements.
  • Hailed as a “true local superstar on everything [he] does here” by Government customer in 2022.
  • Recipient of 2021 and 2022 Army Mission Partners Quarterly Award for Excellence in Execution.

Engineering/Operations Manager

  • Led the initial stand-up of the IGC Operation Support Team consisting of System Operators, Application Administrators, Help Desk Engineers, and Functional Database Managers with reach back to the engineering team for troubleshooting support. The Team is responsible for 24x7 monitoring of both the IGC primary and alternate (hot) sites in both the SIPR/NIPR enclaves.
  • Served as the IGC Operations Manager and primary point-of-contact for the Government, DISA Site Administrators, and IGC producer/consumer systems.
  • Managed the IGC Operation Support Team to consistently exceed the customer availability and data latency requirements for over 15 years.
  • Supported the 40+ person IGC team, including both employees and subcontractors, in my role as Engineering Manager.
