Accomplishments

  • Documented and resolved a region-wide algae problem in our transmission system that was impacting thousands of our drinking water customers. I developed an intensive investigation, with a sampling plan, and fabrication of custom sampling equipment. This led to discovery of an unexpected problem with a new water treatment facility. The solution to the problem costs the SFPUC millions annually to mitigate the problems.
  • Used Microsoft Office and other industry-specific programs to develop Outreach materials, Annual Reports, inventory tracking, and analytical presentation of various field data.
  • Collaborated with team of Regulators, City Supervisors, legal teams, Outreach Coordinators, and other agencies in the development of P2 outreach materials, campaigns, events, as well as numerous pilot projects to improve water quality in residential, urban, and construction site stormwater environments.
