  • Responsibilities included overall construction management and contract administration
  • Oversight of inspection services, quality control assurance, and safety
  • Coordination of review and monitoring of contractor submittals, shop drawings and requests for information, review of contractors’ schedule of values, construction schedule and monthly updates, verification of monthly and final contractor applications for payment
  • Issuance and maintenance for logging of all deficiencies and corresponding noncompliance reports, preparation of field and change orders for changes to the contract; oversight of preparation for pre-final inspection and final punch list; final inspection, recommending final acceptance, review of final project record drawings and assuring incorporation of changes made during construction; transmittal of record information to the engineer, review of final documents upon completion, and coordination of project close-out
  • Contract work included the construction of a new sludge processing building
  • New equipment included mechanical thickening with polymer feed systems, new centrifuges, digester covers, digester gas conditioning building and system, sludge loading facilities, energy recovery microturbine systems, scum concentrating and screening systems, raw sludge, thickened sludge, and digested sludge holding tanks, lime silo and feed system and gravity thickened sludge and raw sludge pumping systems
  • Work included modifications and renovations for previously flood damaged digester complex infrastructure including renovating digester tanks, mechanical systems, domes for the digester tanks and replacing the buildings EPDM roofing, modifications to digested sludge pumping systems, gravity thickener pump stations, lab renovations and additions, or control system modifications and site process piping
  • Highly involved working with client attorneys in client legal representation for 2 prime contractor multimillion dollar claims on this project and their subsequent dispute resolution.
