Scott Walker

In my past 13 years while employed at ShopRite I was an Outside Porter, an Overnight Grocery Clerk and most recently, a full-time Produce Clerk. During my time at ShopRite, I became familiar with how the store operated in all areas. I was required to know where all products were located within the store when I was a Grocery Clerk. As a Produce Clerk I was responsible for the daily reorganization of the cooler where extra and incoming fruits and vegetables were stored. I would check the available floor stock at the start of my shift, so I knew what needed to be moved to the floor for display and sale. When all assigned tasks were completed for the day, I would seek out other team members who needed assistance with their duties. I would routinely greet and engage with customers who needed assistance in finding products. If I was unable to answer their requests, I would personally escort them to another team member for assistance. Additionally, I received training on how to safely operate the forklift.
