From a young age I had eye for business. In middle school I created a streetwear/sneaker business called @Kickz.Nj that was very successful and has given me many business skills of communication, salesmenship, marketing, and financial management. Running a small sneaker reselling business cultivates essential business acumen, teaching valuable skills in market analysis, negotiation, and customer relations. Managing inventory, handling transactions, and understanding consumer preferences not only build entrepreneurial expertise but also foster adaptability and financial literacy, offering a firsthand glimpse into the dynamics of a competitive marketplace. This entrepreneurial journey instills resilience, problem-solving abilities, and a strong work ethic, providing lessons that transcend business and apply to various facets of life.
I also played collegiate college lacrosse for a year. Collegiate college lacrosse offers an immersive platform to develop crucial life skills such as discipline, resilience, and teamwork, honing both athletic prowess and character. Through the sport's demands for strategy, communication, and dedication, players learn invaluable lessons that extend far beyond the field, preparing them for success in various aspects of life.
Lastly I recently transferred to the University of Colorado Boulder and now am I part of Kappa Alpha Order. Participating in Greek life and going through the pledging process instills invaluable life skills like teamwork, leadership, and time management, fostering personal growth in a supportive community that lasts well beyond the college years. These experiences teach resilience and the ability to navigate diverse social environments, shaping individuals into well-rounded, adaptable leaders.
