I can understand why you would be hesitant to hire someone without at least a decade experience in this industry, but I'm going to tell you why it should be me.
I've grown up on Activision Blizzard games, and I've seen it at it's best and worst, and I want to be the person who gives the company a new lease on life. Do I have experience in management? No but as I've listed I have exceptional people skills and I can convince and motivate people to a desired outcome. Do I have any experience working inside the corporate side of a business? No but I have a firm understanding of business in general. Do I have a degree? No, I thought it made more sense to own a home with a mortgage then a piece of paper that tells people I'm smart enough to work somewhere and a mortgage, not to mention that I will most likely go through job training once I receive the job. Also taking into consideration how Activison Blizzard was managed in the last three years you can't tell me that lack of qualification is a factor for not hiring me, Bobby Kotick was more then qualified to be the CEO of Activision Blizzard, and after the merger with Microsoft he will be gone. The future for Activison Blizzard is uncertain, but I want to be there when It picks itself back up, I want to see this company make game of the year over and over again, I know this company could use someone like me.
I understand people, I can tell how people are feeling without them saying it,
I understand the structure of business fairly well through independent study,
I can be quite the showman, able to inspire and motivate others to achieve goals they otherwise not thought possible,
I have a deep understanding of the gaming industry from years of being a consumer and watching the current climate of Player/Company interaction for the last decade
Finally I have wisdom beyond my years, and a mind brimming with creativity, when I am passionate about something I care deeply about I fixate on it until I achieve the desired outcome, I know I have the ability to repair the public trust that Activision Blizzard lost from it's player base
Writing is more of an idea then a hobby, it always seems like something is in the way of my ability to put pen to paper, I've had this idea in my head for awhile, "The last Days of Alreidia" I call it, I want to make a story where.. Racism is a fundamental part of conflict in the world where in the end ultimately every race realizes how destructive their hatred for each other is not only one another, but also for themselves, and theres a story of a dark lord who has plan for genocide of the mortal races who killed off his people who were some of the foundation workers of the world, I don't want to bore you with the details of it, but I can promise it's familiar but different, which is what I feel people enjoy about fiction, when something can seem foreign yet somehow familiar I think is a cornerstone of great writing. Other then that I spend a little too much time playing hearthstone, I hit legend back in December and I was very proud of myself, so much so I screenshot the rank and had it printed on a canvas paint which at the time of submitting this resume I still need to hang up.
