Maintenance crew leader responsible for the operation and maintenance of city park irrigation systems. Also responsible for maintaining park grounds including facilities and ball fields. Other duties include set up and break down of city events including concerts in the park, kidzfest and Independence Day celebration.

Responsibilities included mowing open areas with wing deck mower, aerating, fertilizing and maintaining ball fields and all duties as assigned. Also responsible for overseeing work release program when assigned.

• Assisted in maintaining outdoor areas such as landscaping and general upkeep efforts for an aesthetically pleasing environment year round.

Early in my employment I was responsible for night lock up at city parks while working during the day at total comfort air conditioning. Eventually I was offered more hours with the city during the day to learn irrigation and eventually became a certified irrigation technician.

• Assembled air ducts, pipes, discharge valves and flues to central heating and cooling equipment.
• Removed old equipment from customers' homes and cleaned up areas to prepare for new installations.
• Maintained a clean, organized workspace during installations and repairs, demonstrating respect for clients'' properties and minimizing disruptions.
• Located and marked pipe positions, hole passages and duct connections in walls and floors.
• installed condensers and finish work including air vents and sealants.
