Sean Forant

I have been in the fire and emergency medical services for over 25 years. I have experience in interfacility transfers with a private ambulance company. I started my firefighting career with a volunteer ambulance company and paid on call firefigher. Once I was hired by the Smithfield Fire Department in 2001, I served as firefighter, fire officer, fire prevention inspector and investigator, advanced and paramedic level emergency medical responces on the ambulance and ALS Engine and Ladder Companies. I am currently the captain of the Tower Ladder, the commander of the Honor Guard, Dive Team member and tactical EMT on the SRU Team. In 2005, I was deployed with the Rhode Island Army National Guard 1/126th Aviation Battalion to Iraq to support Operation Iraqi Freedom.
