I am a state certified nursing assistant with ten years of experience in an Acute Care setting with an additional four years of experience in LTC. With the years of experience, I am currently attending Delta College to obtain my associates in Nursing. My end goal is to obtain my Doctrines in Nursing to specialize in Mental Health. I'm on the waitlist and will find out if I’m starting my nursing program fall of 2026 in the next week or so. I have the mindset, values, autonomy and responsibility of self and others to carry out safe judgment with critical thinking and time management as a Nursing Assistant. My entire purpose working in the medical field is to ensure safety and overall positive experience for the patients, family members and staff. I ensure this is brought into reality by enticing these mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. I like to believe my strongest quality as a health care professional is excellent critical thinking, while maintaining calmness and efficiency in stressful situations. I'm adaptable to many settings in health care environments; A human chameleon if you will. Team work and clear communication is an essential key for overall safety, productivity and wellbeing for our patients, families to the patients and our staff.
