As a lab technician working for an asphalt facility I am responsible for making mix designs that the company will use for each paving season on state roadways. We work hand in hand with pendot quality assurance to prove we are compliant and in spec with all penn dot and other state and federal standards. I am also a certified wieghmaster for the company in which I use automated systems to loadout materials into tri axles, as well as running various heavy machinery when needed and maintenance on the plant and machinery. This ranges from simple preventative maintenance to larger scale stuff needing welding, and cutting and fab work.

• Operated various types of machinery, demonstrating versatility and adaptability in diverse work environments.
• Maintained a safe working environment by enforcing strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Assisted in training new operators, sharing knowledge of best practices and promoting a culture of teamwork amongst peers.
• Provided on-the-job training to newly hired workers and team members.
• Operating the paving machine, rollers, milling machines, backhoe, skidsteer and many other mzchine sand hand tools.

Unloading raw materials for processing as well as loading final materials for shipping. I was responsible for running haysen packing machines that packaged our fiber products into bags that were then manually boxed and palletized and readied for shipping. I used Excell spreadsheets to keep track of stock and inventory. Forklift certified, we used fortrucks to load and unload raw and finished materials into semi trailers.
