  • Recruited to develop the international business strategy and sales development for the southern region of the United States for Strad Energy Services, a publicly traded diversified oilfield service company specializing in; surface equipment rentals, tubular/downhole solutions, access/environmental matting, manufacturing, and satellite communications
  • Built a new sales team and developed the sales strategy for the South Texas market that culminated in $11 million in new sales
  • Created global business development process securing $8.5 million in international quotes.

  • A mid-cap publicly traded company that provides products and services to the oil and gas industry with $850M in global sales
  • Selected by the CEO to lead the strategy for a $100M well site construction and mat manufacturing division of the corporation with six direct reports, 450 employees, and a $65M operating budget
  • Developed and executed the plan to consolidate the five vertically integrated oilfield services companies comprising the division operating in the Gulf Coast, Mexico, Canada, and Asia Pacific into one cohesive organization
  • Increased sales by 9%; operating income, sales per employee and profit per employee increased 21%, 16% and 29%, respectively, on $100M in annual sales
  • Identified potential acquisition targets and was chosen by the board to be a key member of the due diligence and negotiating teams in the acquisition of SEM Construction, which provided the business a geographic footprint in the Piceance Basin in Colorado
  • Led the team that developed and executed all aspects of fully integrating SEM Construction into Newpark
  • The integration was executed on time and budget while retaining sales and profit.

  • The world’s largest privately held Printing Ink and specialty chemical Company with $1.5B in annual revenue
  • After spending 17 years with the company in various roles of increasing levels of responsibility and success, I was promoted to lead the strategy and operations for the $300M North American Packaging Ink division including eight direct reports, 15 manufacturing facilities, 900 employees and a $200M operating budget
  • Increased sales from $278 million to $300 million in multiple market segments including corrugated, folding carton, and flexible packaging while simultaneously reducing costs
  • Decreased required working capital from $82M to $69M through aggressive inventory reduction and accounts receivables programs
  • Chosen to spearhead the global account management strategy and integration framework, unifying regional businesses from North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific
  • Led divestiture of a $24M business to Noveon / BF Goodrich & an $11M business to Environmental Inks
  • Restructured the national account organization and created new sales, service, product introduction and support strategies based on market segments
  • The results were 100% sales retention of existing clients and four percent growth from the two largest segments
  • Developed all contract strategies resulting in the closure of 82% of contracts negotiated, and $49 million in protected business, and $28 million annually in incremental business
  • Simultaneously improved margins through unbundling of services and development of multiple price point selling strategies
  • Designed the company's first Global Account Management program including the creation and cross-fertilization of business strategies in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America
  • Increased profitable revenue from $40 million to $52 million in four years with existing resources
  • Developed business plan that dramatically improved the profitability of the Berkeley, CA operation which was scheduled for closure prior to my appointment due to poor profit performance
  • This location then achieved a number one ranking in profit contribution four years in a row, out of 18 locations
  • Developed and implemented West Coast integration and re-organization plan after acquiring the division’s second largest competitor
  • The results were 100% customer retention and 11% profit improvement
  • Integrated a new strategic marketing and sales plans resulting in an increased branch ranking from 18th in the company to number two in profit contribution in one year.
