I was in the Rebel Regiment for five years at Byrnes High School. During that time under the direction of Bryan Bone, we won many state championships, went to nationals, and won state twice. He taught us how to be punctual, and how to treat other people. During my time in the Rebel Regiment, I enjoyed music so much that I wanted it to be my career. I did one year at SCC and played in the Limestone University marching band and drove everyday to play in the band. The following year I was accepted to Limestone for music. I learned music theory, aural skills, music history, and how to conduct. All my professors said that I was a determined and hard worker and watched me grow in the four years. Even though I do not have experience yet with my work ethic and determination. I know I would be a great asset to your band program.
