Responsibilities included but were not limited to:

- Supervised diverse workforce of individuals focused on common production and quality goals

- Followed guidelines for ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001

- Implemented and followed 5S procedure

- Helped team follow production standards and OSHA requirements for optimal safety

- Reviewed production schedule in advance to set priorities and ensure that production targets are met efficiently

- Met production targets and tight deadlines by collaborating closely with team members

- Had proper use and understanding of injection molding machines including Sumitomo, Cincinnati Milacron, Nissei and Arburg

- Evaluated and processing out defects and quality concerns to ensure constant flow of good product

- Kept track of job quantities to ensure correct amounts are met and not overrun

- Trained new production staff members on safe and efficient production procedures and proper machine operations

- Worked with quality team to maintain acceptable product

- Worked with material handlers to verify correct material and dye percent is being used

- Worked with mold maintenance team to correct issues with molds

- Worked with shipping department to help manage inventory of goods

- Used a fork truck to move molds to and from presses (fork truck certified)

- Set up and tear down of molds for injection molding in a timely manner

- Set up of auxiliary equipment (hydraulic cores, hot oil systems ect)

- Documented processes and of process changes made, including safety limits

- Inspected finished products for quality and adherence to customer standards

- Kept manufacturing area clean, organized and safe

- Performed general equipment maintenance and repair to minimize downtime
