on a daily basis i have to get the machines ready, start them up atleast 15mins before the day starts to do an inspection on all the parts, motor check fluid levels grease it for the day. after the machines are ready greased and fueled up i get the lazer ready check the plans for all the grades and double check what is needed to be done for the day go through my field book set grades and get the grade stick ready for the helpers with all the grades ready for the days project. also be on the ground helping them with what needs to be done if they dont understand or need help doing it the right way, talking to customers or getting supplies for the day or next days project, digging utility trenches sewer lines, septic systems, or excavating for house foundations, also finish grades and touch ups. i started at this company back in 2009 as a carpenter worked my way up to a foreman running all the field guys and sswitched over to operator 4 years ago professionaly
