how the way how work was bought off by the QA inspector and the steps required for the plane to be pushed forward in process. We saw this operation on the C-17, F-18, and F-15.
the tear down on planes on site. We assisted and saw the checks being done on both F-15 and F-18 Programs.
we saw the way how toolboxes were audited and how they were made. I assisted by auditing a toolbox of mechanics on site by checking the functionality and state of a tool and having the specific markings on the tool. I also checked to see if the toolbox log was being kept up with necessary procedures. I also was shown how to work the tool crib system on the F-18 program. We were instructed how to check in and check out tools from mechanics to aid on tool control.
