  • Oversee production from grape to bottle of over half a million cases annually for various price tiers, ranging from premium, super premium and ultra premium, both organic and conventional offerings.
  • Manage two direct reports – Production Winemaker and Winery Logistics Scheduler.
  • Meet regularly with Production Winemaker and Winery Logistics Scheduler to ensure the weekly/monthly cellar plan meets the production schedule and direct adjustments accordingly.
  • Manage the winery’s daily/weekly grape receiving schedule during harvest season to maximize efficiency in the cellar while maintaining control of quality (multiple departments involved).

  • Work closely with supply & demand to work on program production forecast, cost target and bottling schedule.
  • Track each blend’s compliance status to meet local, state, federal and export wine production regulations.
  • Support yearly CCOF audit.
  • Travel nationally and abroad to work with distributors and attend trade and media events.
  • Winemaker for the Bonterra brand from 2017 to 2021, collaborating on all Bonterra mainline products (500K cases).
  • Serve as point of contact and manage wines for the custom crush agreements since 2021 harvest (3,500-4,500 tons/year).
  • Collaborate with grower relations team to seek and fulfill grape contracts accordingly.
  • Work closely with Director of Vineyard Operations to identify and manage specific vineyard blocks to meet or exceed the quality needed for Bonterra Organic Estate’s fine wine portfolio.
