My role at Paris Baguette includes receiving shipments and organizing the food merchandise, pantry, and walk-in cooler. Taking inventory and putting in orders to make sure the kitchen is well stocked. Preparing fresh food items for the day. Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and sanitizing the workstation.
My role at TGI Fridays included setting up workstations and cooking multiple orders simultaneously by grilling, sauteing, or frying. Maintaining a clean work environment and closing the kitchen at the end of the shift. Organizing the walk-in cooler/ dry storage and keeping the general well-being of the back of house. Instructing new staff in the proper procedures and use of kitchen equipment.
