Accomplishments

    In my role as a Barbershop Assistant, I took pride in keeping the workspace clean, organized, and running smoothly. I consistently maintained a high standard of hygiene and made sure that supplies were fully stocked, which helped the barbers stay focused on their clients. I also made sure the waiting area was clean and welcoming, which contributed to a positive customer experience. My reliability and attention to detail were often recognized by both staff and customers.

    In addition, I’ve learned how to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks at once, and support a team in meaningful ways. Even though my role was behind the scenes, I understand that every job—big or small—has a purpose, and I always showed up ready to help. As part of a Superior-rated ensemble, I’ve participated in football games, parades, and statewide competitions. In addition to marching band, I’ve also played in the Jazz Ensemble and Wind Ensemble, where I’ve developed my musical skills and contributed to concert performances and assessments. One of my proudest accomplishments was earning a Superior rating at the Florida Bandmasters Association Solo & Ensemble event for my horn solo performance.

Beyond music, I’ve stayed active by competing in track events at Lyons Creek Middle School, where I earned first place in a race in 2022. I’ve also participated in several community runs, including the Butterfly Run in 2023 and 2024 and the Bubble Run in 2025, as a way to stay healthy and connected to my community. I regularly volunteer at both Lyons Creek Middle and Monarch High School, helping teachers with classroom setup, AICE test preparation, and organizing materials. These experiences have taught me the value of service, leadership, and the importance of showing up for the people and places that shaped who I am.
