Bilingual dental student at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, expected to graduate in June 2027, with supervised clinical experience treating pediatric, adult, and rural patient populations. Clinical training includes restorative dentistry, fixed prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and comprehensive treatment planning. Completed a community-based hospital rotation in Villa de Leyva and previously conducted graduate research at the University of Florida on E. coli DNA polymerase II. Worked with patients receiving cancer care during a supervised preventive dentistry rotation at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerología. The rotation focused on protecting oral health during cancer treatment through patient education, personalized oral-hygiene guidance, and preventive care intended to reduce avoidable oral complications.
Participated in a supervised hospital-based rotation focused on reviewing complex dental cases involving patients with significant medical conditions. Case discussions examined how systemic diseases, medical histories, and ongoing treatments influenced dental risk assessment, treatment planning, necessary modifications, and referral decisions.
