I'm a quick learner who is easily able to adapt to new jobs and situations. My time as a sous chef, living in Europe for the majority of this year, helped me become a stronger, more resilient worker. I was able to work on my knife skills and plating different dishes while working with Artistic Gourmet Adventures, My favorite part of working in the kitchen has always been making pastries, desserts, and breads, but I enjoy all work in the kitchen. I have learned a lot about customer service from every job I've had, from greeting those who entered while I was working at Chick-fil-A to conversing with customers at the small coffee shop I worked at in Lubbock. At Gold Stripe I almost always had to work alone, so I had to learn how to work quickly, pulling shots, frothing milk, getting food items made, staying on top of dishes to help the customers have an enjoyable experience. I honestly love people and interacting and getting to know both co-workers and customers. I also learned to speak Spanish while I was doing mission work in Mexico years ago, and I have managed to hang onto a good amount of it.
