Gardening, Soapmaking and Cooking

I love to grow plants. I've grown tomatoes, eggplants, squash, basil, grapes, cucumbers, blueberries, potatoes and Thai hot chili peppers (successful outcome!). I didn't do well with the rosemary and watermelons. I'm starting the watermelons earlier this year so they have the full time to grow before it gets cold again. 


I recently made a batch of soap with coconut, olive oil and shea butter. I made it a seafoam green color, with gold streaks. Its very moisturizing and has no chemicals or toxins- good soap. 

 

Cooking is my passion. I love to see people enjoy the food I cook. I catered weddings for years with my aunt. Now I understand why people eat prior to business meetings, internationally, politically and other more intimate social meetings. Food is healing, uniting and brings much pleasure when done right. I like to see others smile.
