• Implementation and enhancement of clinical information systems to improve nursing practices
• Evaluation of strategic plan, policies, and procedures in relation to information technology
• Clinical input during information system review, design, development, test, and management
• Conducting pre and/or post-implementation survey of users and reporting findings
• Designing a test plan for a system upgrade/modification
• Participate in designing a user training curriculum for a new or existing system

• Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, Serve as clinical super user of EHR systems provides go-live support of perioperative technology
• Support implementation and evaluation of surgical center clinical information systems
• Perform preoperative clinical workflow documentation using Cerner applications
• Conduct workflow analysis to improve efficiency and documentation of Covid testing results
• Work in collaboration with a team team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR nurses, and other multidisciplinary teams in achieving maximum care for our patients
• Implements all physician orders, obtains appropriate signatures on consents and other required documents to provide continuity and quality nursing care using information technology

Medical /Respiratory Inpatient - 50 Bed Unit

• Provides direct care to patients with various complex medical diagnoses
• Serves as an advocate to ensure high-quality care through the adoption of clinical technologies
• Perform clinical workflow documentation using EHR/EMR system
• Serves as a committee member to develop and revise policies and procedures
• Preceptor to new nurse grads
• Charge Nurse - supervise staff, create assignments, address and resolve work issues and manage workflow
