  • Dance instruction for ages 3 to adult. I teach Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Lyrical dance, as well as organizing our competitive dance team. I am also the owner and director of the studio. I am also responsible for timesheets, !099, and payroll. I am also responsible for organizing our fundraisers for our dance teams. My role in this position was to receive incoming calls with inquiries, assist with payments, troubleshoot, and make changes to policyholders' accounts. I accepted calls from law officials regarding traffic stops, as well as officials from the court systems regarding the drivers' coverages. I was responsible for assisting policyholders with their renewed coverage, filing, and obtaining the appropriate forms to maintain their driving abilities, such as SR22 forms. I was promoted to the claims department, where I was responsible for filing the claims for the policyholders after their accidents or incidents needing claims. I was a point of contact with the opposite party's insurance company to get the policyholder's claims resolved. I also kept the claims adjusters' information and communications current through messages from the policyholders and claimants to make sure their claims were processed in a timely manner. This position was a remote work position.

My main objective in this position is to make sure the customers have a positive, lasting impression as they are ringing out. If customers are displeased with any issues in the store or their customer experience, I am typically the employee who is retrieved to settle the customers' issues and change their experience. In order to execute this, I can usually calm the customer with my tone and willingness to assist. I am responsible for doing returns at the service desk, and maintaining order and cleanliness in the front checkouts. I assist customers who need help on the sales floor as well. When we get our shipments, I am responsible for pricing the new merchandise, and putting it in the correct spot. When we are issued updates (resets), I am responsible for making the moves or deleting the merchandise to update the area. I also train the new hires on the front checkouts and returns registers. When we are short-staffed, I go to other departments to help them, and I have stayed for several doubles when needed. I have gone to other departments when asked, as they have needed help. Upon shipment dates, I was responsible for pricing new items, dating consumables, and stocking merchandise. As well as processing structural resets when getting new merchandise. At times, adding and deleting the items in the set. I was also chosen to do our Christmas ornament section sets, as they were larger sets. I set them quickly and accurately. I was also responsible for training all new hires on the policies and procedures of the company, as well as training them on the front checkouts. I had a great interest in the security of our store, as well. I did so by keeping updated with our information folders to be aware of fraudulent transactions or customers.

As HPS, my duties were to ensure that all inventory, expense orders, and supplies were maintained and in order for the photo lab. Expense items may include anything from the name labels and envelopes to photo paper, parts for the NEXLAB machines, and chemicals. I was in charge of inventory control for the supplies, and auditing the orders to make sure they were picked up in a timely manner. I was responsible for making the overdue calls to the customers, reminding them of their due dates, and issuing an official pick-up deadline for their orders. Along with keeping the lab stocked, I was responsible for processing customer orders, assisting the customers on the KIOSK if needed, and advising them of specials to add to their orders as upsells. I was responsible for training all new employees on the policies and procedures of our company, in the photo lab, as well as OSHA training for the chemicals we handled to process photos. I trained the new hires on the machines' care, troubleshooting, and maintenance in case of breakdowns. I was responsible for generating and meeting sales goals for the photo lab, which included networking to obtain outside photo projects. I was responsible for scheduling and booking all seasonal, or holiday, photo shoots. That included advertising, marketing, attending, and closing out those events. I created the price points for the events and specials. Along with running the photo lab, I was also in charge of the perishable section of the store. Often, keeping the cooler and freezer items rotated and clean, as well as checking and rotating outdates, is important. I checked our temps in the cold spaces, and made sure the temp logs were updated with the correct information. Following this process and training the photo lab associates to always be prepared for our inspections from the Health Department. I assisted with shipments on truck days, and electronically checked in vendors when they had deliveries. Which included checking their shipment inventory, making sure the products matched our invoices, as well as processing the expired products to go back with them. I also trained new hires on policies and procedures, such as placing tags, ordering items, and training on the registers. As well as training the staff on how to create resets in departments. I was responsible for making sure all employees were compliant with OSHA rules, as well as the policies and procedures of the store and photo lab. I verified this by administering the required testing packets, visual aids, and scoring them. Once scored, I reported their progress, or the need to receive coaching, to our store managers. I often assisted at the register with breaks, covering abandoned shifts when the store was busy and needed assistance at checkouts.

I have had a lengthy career with GAP. I first began by picking and packing online merchandise for GAP, OLD NAVY, BANANA REPUBLIC, and ATHLETA in a seasonal position. I then transitioned to a corrections role. I was responsible for checking the pickers' and packers' work, making sure the right items were shipped to our customers. If I found an incorrect item, I would audit that associate, and have the order completed correctly. I then transitioned to the call center. I had multiple roles, which included taking customer orders, correcting wrong sizes, colors, or items. As well as ordering their replacements for them. I often adjusted their accounts and made payments to their specific name-brand credit accounts. I often had to take escalated calls and work to fix the customers' complaints. This position began as an in-office position and was transitioned to a remote position.
