· Interview, hire, train and obtain all necessary documents for new staff.
· Ensure chemical bottles are labeled correctly, proper chemicals are being used, manage SDS binders, and ensure we are following Spectrum Policies.
· Manage supplies and make sure they arrive in a timely manner and that they are within budget.
· Cover for housekeepers when needed.
· Work with Maintenance, Sales, and ED to ensure move-ins or In House transfers are ready in a timely manner.
· Communicate and assist vendors when necessary.
· Establish relationships with family members of residents.
· Maintain housekeeping schedule for residents based on needs or requests.
· Schedule and complete work order requests for housekeeping including carpet cleaning and deep cleans.
· Maintain Cleanliness of Common Areas Daily and report any safety concerns to appropriate departments.
· Participate in Community Events, attend and report at All Staff Meetings and Resident meetings.
· Manage Bi-Monthly housekeeping meetings with my staff to discuss new move-ins, upcoming events, resident concerns, and updates on any changes in the building.
· Welcome new residents, discuss housekeeping needs, and introduce their housekeeper.
· Assist all residents in ordering and receiving their meals.
· Helping to make sure their nutritional needs were met.
· Cover chef shift when necessary.
· Put together to-go meals and deliver them in a timely manner.
