Recommendations

  • Randy Thornton, Milo Adventist Academy Principal (Randy managed Sergio directly), November 28, 2023. "My experience tells me that Sergio Bellino is a blessing everywhere he goes. The breadth of his experience is incredible. He is a gifted systems and program designer. This was exceptionally clear at Milo Academy where he led in a comprehensive update of our mission and vision as well as building a student work experience program management systems from the ground up. But Sergio is more than a great thinker, he is very relational and highly dependable. Both adult colleagues and students are quickly drawn to Sergio's winning personality. Sergio helped place Milo on a steep upward growth trajectory and he is sorely missed."
  • Lynn Boyd, ADRA Mozambique Director (Lynn managed Sergio directly), March 18, 2018. "I helped recruit Sergio to be the director of an African school (Munguluni) in Mozambique. The situation was chaotic, and we needed strong, creative and passionate leadership. I left Mozambique about 1 year after Sergio agreed to serve there, but I have been monitoring his progress from afar. The things that stand out in my mind can be summarized as follows:1. High intelligence2. Strong discipline, work ethic and focus on set goals3. A wide breadth of experience from which to draw for one so young4. Flexibility, absolutely required for work in undeveloped countries where surprises happen daily5. Most importantly, absolute commitment to the mission of the organization he chooses. We gave Sergio the freedom to shape the situation because we were too distant to manage it ourselves. Our control was largely limited to his regular reports. This means that he was able to shape his vision freely within the framework of our overall mission there to re-establish an educational institution that would serve both the local population and the nation as a whole through the development of leaders and workers with the capacity to serve society and make a positive difference wherever they chose to work. Under Sergio's leadership, the curriculum has been transformed from a very weak primary school to a full primary and secondary institution with a strong academic program and practical skills in agriculture, industry and community health. Students who graduate are well-prepared and motivated to serve. It is this final"product," the graduating students, that speaks clearly to Sergio's ability to transform his corporate vision into reality, to make it a force that motivates hisco-workers, inspires his community and drives institutional progress. What he has accomplished is truly noteworthy considering the situation into which he came. With very limited resources at his disposal and in a completely foreign culture (even the local language was different) he was able to gain the trust and support of the community, raise funds, negotiate with government leaders, oversee building program, drive marketing and ultimately satisfy a wide variety of stakeholders around the world; donors, organizational overseers, critical government officials, local constituents, and students. There have been setbacks, to be sure, but overall what Sergio has accomplished in a relatively short time has been amazing. If you need someone who is passionate and able to lead for progress and change, you could not find a better candidate."
  • Yarizel Rodriguez, Industrial Psychologist/Corporate Trainer/Organizational Development/Motivational Speaker (Yarizel worked with Sergio in different groups), March 18, 2018. "Sergio Bellino is one of the greatest leaders I’ve ever known. He seeks for results, but at the same time, he takes care of the people. His passionate, trustworthy, live by his values, full of energy and willing to pursuit his dreams. He has a mix of great qualities that are very rare to find in a leader, and even ina person. He really enjoys developing people and help them to grow to the nextlevel. He is a true leader, achieving results and caring for the People. He definitely is a great asset for any company or any group of people."
  • Jim Theis, Maintenance Manager at Pulmuone/Monterey Gourmet Foods (Jim worked with Sergio in the same group), March 14, 2018. "I worked at ConAgra with Sergio a few years ago and he introduced me to TPM and lean manufacturing which was a first for me. I found Sergio to be extremely professional and knowledgeable more so than anyone else I have worked with. Sergio is very much missed by all who worked for him especially in the packaging department there. I would HIGHLY recommend Sergio to any company; he is the picture of professionalism and I wish I was working with him now."
  • Greg Werbaneth, Plant Director at Ready Pac Foods, Inc. (Greg worked with Sergio in different groups), September 2, 2011. "Sergio led the transformation of our site towards a Zero Loss Culture. Sergio has a great balance between the theoretical and the practical. He was able to turn ideas into actions. Sergio is fluently bilingual, and he is equally effective communicating with the shop floor or senior management."
  • Tina Kirby, Logistics Manager at ConAgra Foods (Tina worked with Sergio in different groups), August 7, 2009. If you are looking for a dynamic leader that possesses positive and high-level skills, Sergio Bellino is that person. I have worked with this company for 38 years and have seen many, many Managers and their leadership skills and I would rank Sergio in the top 5."
