Sergio Galvan Jr

I have had the chance to participate in collegiate sports around the state of Texas for the past six years, and this experience has influenced my work ethic, discipline, and leadership. My path started at Frank Phillips College, where I acquired the dedication needed to blend academics and elite athletics and laid the groundwork for my collegiate baseball career.

Following my stay, I pursued my athletic career at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where I competed at a higher level of collegiate competition and honed my skills. I learned how to adjust, compete, and contribute in a challenging program from that experience, which helped me develop both as an athlete and as a teammate.

I am currently a member of the TAMUK baseball team at Texas A&M University–Kingsville, where I have the privilege of captaining the club. I contribute to the program's leadership in this capacity by establishing the bar for team culture, work ethic, and responsibility. As captain, I have had the opportunity to support the program's leadership structure, mentor younger players, and represent the team to the university community.

Mentored athletes in youth baseball at Clutch Laredo, focusing on skill development and teamwork. Conducted practices and guided players to improve their confidence and abilities on the field.

Assisted with warehouse operations by packing and prepping oak wine barrels for nationwide shipping, maintaining up-to-date inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and organizing warehouse layout to ensure effective order fulfillment. Collaborated with team members to streamline workflow, ensuring precise and timely shipment processing.
