  • Daily operations in the Depot provided an excellent source of experience in the supply system as well as exposure/experience with various shipboard and DOD logistics programs such as Ships Surface Engineering Operating Cycle(SSEOC), USAF Special Missions, Ships New Construction(SCN) projects as well as identifying and resolving complex life cycle logistics problems
  • The Foreign Military Sales(FMS) program required reading blueprint diagrams/drawings to identify material requirements for each space
  • Evaluating technical documents to identify resource requirements
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and export restrictions were required to provide effective support for each country’s requisition
  • I was required to analyze integrated logistical support (ILS) programs to identify efficiencies or deficiencies and recommend corrective action (ie After an increased percentage in component failure, it was determined to be a lack of system knowledge
