This project consisted of industrial electrical work for United Launch Alliance. The pad renovations of SLC-41 and the construction of the Vulcan MLP. My position as a working forman consisted of daily planning of the days work and material handling of Aerospace parts. I was instrumental in the construction of various areas of the pad and the Spock building renovations to accommodate the MLP and flight hardware. Hensel Phelps was the general contractor.
This position was the first time I ever worked on the space center as an industrial electrician. I was involved with various facilities working as a journeyman electrician. I worked for Boeing Corporation on the renovations for the Starliner project. This involved renovating the old shuttle buildings OPF-1, OPF-3. I also worked at the VAB for the Omega renovations. Hensel Phelps was the general contractor on the projects I was on.
At this company I worked at the VA hospital in Lake Nona. I was boots on the ground hands on the wheel electrician. This was the one and only job I was on. I did everything under the sun that's associated with industrial electrical work. This project was the largest and most complex job I had ever been on and was a huge learning experience for my electrical career. Brasield and Gorrie was the general contractor for this project.
