• Under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, I was responsible for making independent decisions and coordinating the appropriate Athletic Training Services for athletes by evaluating physical condition and athletic injuries, advised and treated athletes to maintain health and physical fitness for participation in college athletics.
• Independently made decisions on evaluation, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries for Bellevue University Athletes
• Supported the Head Athletic Trainer with rehabilitation of post injury and post-surgery conditions.
• Assisted with pre-season physicals, prevention, care, and recognition of on-site injuries.
• Delivered emergency care for injured athletes on field or at sporting events.

• Coordinated and supervised athletic training services under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer and in conjunction with the Athletics Director.
• Present at athletic events as assigned by the Athletics Director to administer immediate treatment at the time of an injury and supervised the delivery of treatment or rehabilitation programs prescribed by the athlete’s personal physician.
• Assisted coaches in the design of appropriate strength and conditioning programs for athletes.
• Maintained accurate records pertinent to student-athletes’ relevant medical histories, prescription medications, participation in athletics, injuries and treatment regimens, parental consent for treatment and emergency contact information.
• Assisted the Athletic Director in developing, maintaining, and overseeing emergency medical services plans and school crisis plans related to school athletic events.
• Monitored conditions and practices to assure the safety of student-athletes and coaches, reporting concerns about unsafe conditions or practices to the Athletic Director.
• Act as liaison for the school district, to parents and health care providers (physical therapists and physicians) when medical care is required
• Provided emergency care, first aid and initial evaluations for any injury occurring on field, during practice, or while exercising.
• Provided rehabilitative treatment, as prescribed, when athletes are under medical care for injuries, and maintained accurate records of treatments provided.
