• Oversaw Stormwater and BMP Management projects for all sites to include annual maintenance and MS4 Permit training for school staff

Construction and Project Management

Provided Construction Management, Project Management and Oversight to 8 Facilities Modernization projects totaling 500,000 GSF valued at over $151MM. Member of the Executive Team tasked with ensuring these projects came in on-time and on-budget from RFP phase to Project Close-Out.

• (2013-2014) - Jessie Thackrey Pre-School Additions and Renovations - $2.4MM
• (2015-2018) - Mt. Daniel Elementary School Phases 1-2 Additions, Demolition and Renovations - $16.7MM

Facilities and Capital Planning

• Developed and Presented Annual Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) to School Board and City Council
• Managed and Implemented CIP plan once funding was approved to ensure budgets and timelines were met
• Played key role in the City and School District's High School Bond Referendum Team that saw the successful 2017 passage of largest single bond in City history worth $120MM
• Collaborated closely with School-Based Leadership and Operational Leadership Team members to forecast annual Capital Replacement cycles

Safety and Security

• Developed project scope, negotiated contract and implemented transition to Contracted Security with annual contracts valued at $375K
• Manages all day-to-day operations of Security Team

• Developed close working relationships with City Police, City Emergency Management and School Resource Officers (SROs) to enhance security protocols at all schools and district offices

Facilities Usage

Oversees Facilities Usage Department which is responsible for all after-school activities and community usage of facilities

• Created website for Community Usage of School Facilities to allow easy online reservations of available spaces in real-time
• Worked with City of Falls Church General Government and COO to develop online payment system for collection of fees
• Plan, Organized and Managed 6 large scale regional events hosted by FCCPS that had attendance of 35,000 per event. Coordinated with regional partners from Fairfax County Police, VA State Police, VA Department of Transportation, US Department of State, WMATA and Embassy Staff

Transitioned school district from private Facility Management to In-House, Full-Service Facilities Department through staff reorganization

• Implemented online Work-Order System to improve operational efficiency (School Dude)
• Established Team-Cleaning to improve effectiveness and efficiency for Custodial Services Department
• Shifted Custodial chemicals and paper products to environmentally mindful products
• Converted all lighting to LED
• Oversaw elevator modernization projects for all schools
• Oversaw design, procurement and installation of IP Network Video Cameras spread throughout all buildings

Provided Facilities Services Management and Data Analytics to local customer sites
