NAPPS-IIN Study (National Active Partnership to Promote Safe Sleep Improvement Initiative)

  • Conducted surveys of new mothers for effective educational methods being provided at hospital for promoting Infant safe sleep and collection of breastfeeding data for NICHQ’s quality improvement project.
  • Enrolled 155 subjects in this study under Dr. Capra’s supervision. Conducted follow-up phone call surveys for 40+ subjects to see if they are implementing the Infant Safe Sleep guidelines at home.

CARRA (Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance) Registry

  • Screened and approached potential subjects with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis for CARRA Registry

PICO Study

  • Screened pregnant potential subjects with BMI greater than 40 for randomization of PICO bandage trial
