Part-time Student Physical Therapist (24 hours)

• Provided patient education on home exercise program and activity modification for 3 patients
• Treated 4-5 patients daily with various orthopedic musculoskeletal conditions with supervising PT in an outpatient setting
• Completed chart reviews independently for 3 patients and assisted in chart reviews for 5 patients

Part-time Student Physical Therapy (24 hours)

• Assisted 4 patients with either transfers and/or ambulation providing assistance ranging from supervision assistance to max assistance.
• Observed physical therapy treatments and evaluations for patients after stroke, spinal cord injury, and amputations in an inpatient acute setting, seeing 5-8 patients daily.
• Observed and assisted with chart reviews and performed 2 supervised patient interviews

Student volunteer (7 hours)

• Supported engaging, and smooth-running events by helping with preparation, organization and planning.
• Assisted in loading food and goods into carts and cars for 110 individuals.

Practiced introductory PT skills (40 hours)

• Assisted in applying heat and cold packs, and TENS
• Observed physical therapy interviews, interventions and documentation in the outpatient setting.
