El Buho Cafe is a coffee shop ministry located in Mexico, geared towards rock climbers. In the position of Manager I both run the day-to-day work of the cafe, and oversee the ministry as a whole. This looks like recruiting, training and investing in the missionary staff, planning and running events, teaching Bible studies, and ministering to rock climbers and locals.
In 2019 I joined the Volunteer rescue team in El Potrero Chico Mexico, and then in 2021 I took on a leadership role in the organization. The rescue team is a group of volunteers trained and equipped to rescue climbers and hikers who are injured or in need of assistance. In the role of Coordinator I trained new volunteers on the team, coordinated rescues alongside the local government, and assisted in patient rescues.
As the Youth Director I oversaw the youth program of the church. This included equipping volunteers, preaching twice weekly, working with parents, planning events and teaching youth about the Bible.
As the student worker at the Baptist Student Ministry I did office work, worked with the BSM Director to teach and equip college students to share the Gospel, taught Bible studies, and went on multiple mission trips.
