Projects

Research on Composite Materials Reinforced with Metal Powders

  • Conducted an experimental investigation to analyze the mechanical properties (tensile, compressive, and torsional strengths) of epoxy glass fiber composites reinforced with varying ratios of metal powders.
  • Focused on determining how different composite ratios affect the strength properties, providing valuable insights for material optimization in engineering applications.

Design and Fabrication of Go-Kart

  • Led the design and fabrication of a high-performance go-kart for competitive racing, incorporating CAD modeling to create efficient chassis, drivetrain, and suspension systems.
  • Selected and sourced materials such as steel alloys and aluminum to optimize strength, weight, and durability.
  • Managed the assembly process, including welding, cutting, and component integration of engine, transmission, steering, and braking systems.
  • Conducted performance testing, analyzing handling and stability to fine-tune the go-kart’s design for maximum efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to troubleshoot and optimize systems, ensuring the vehicle met competition standards and safety regulations.

Certification

Diageo Manufacturing Job Simulation on Forage - January 2025

Key skills learned:

  • Completed a job simulation in which I reviewed the entire bourbon production process for the supply chain and manufacturing team at Diageo.
  • Analyzed deviations from standard process parameters and identified their underlying causes.
  • Evaluated downtime data and created a strategic plan to improve operational efficiencies as part of a continuous improvement mindset.

GE Aerospace Supply Chain Job Simulation on Forage - January 2024

  • Completed a simulation focused on GE Aerospace’s Supply Chain engineering
  • Developed a procedure to disassemble a GEnx-1B high bypass turbofan engine core
  • Utilized engineering data in order to specify applicability, capacity, and size requirements
  • Successfully dispositioned non-conforming turbine blades using GE's Digital Thread and engineering data
  • Completed three “Defect Disposition Forms” in Excel for each of the non-conforming turbine blades in the non-conventional machining center

Advanced Surface design by Catia

Product design & drafting by Catia
