The Replenishment Service is designed to prevent out-of-stock situations at Kroger retail stores by ensuring that shelves are stocked with popular items based on sales and inventory data. This involves processing sales and item movement data to alert store associates about stock shortages.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Led the technical design of microservices in the replenishment area, including NFAO, DTS, Fast Movers, Wall-to-Wall and OSA Alerts
• Designed and implemented APIs for data integration between various Kroger services, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Developed a robust performance monitoring framework to track service performance and optimize query execution.
• Worked directly with the product owner to understand business needs, translated those into technical specifications, and ensured that services met project requirements.
• Led code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and overseeing deliverables.

Connected Cars is a system built to provide real-time vehicle data processing and storage using multiple microservices. The system integrates with various car telemetry systems and uses Apache Kafka for event-driven data processing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Developed and deployed microservices to process vehicle data and store results in HBase.
• Integrated Kafka for seamless communication between microservices, enabling real-time data flow between various subsystems (LEV, VDS, and Stream).
• Designed and implemented integration testing frameworks using Spring Boot, Kafka, Cucumber, and Wire Mock.
• Worked with multiple teams (MPH, RCZ) to resolve integration issues and ensure data consistency across services.
• Mentored offshore teams and facilitated technical discussions around architecture and performance optimization.
