Additionally, formulated a comprehensive plan to achieve the 'zero-touch' goal, aiming for fully automated region builds for AWS AppMesh services.

- Worked on scaling AWS AppMesh services to concurrently handle up to 6,000 connections per service, which was a significant increase from the previous limit of 1,000 connections. This expansion was essential to support the AWS ECS Service Connect load
- Integrated AWS App Mesh with AWS CloudTrail to provide customers with end-to-end visibility into their service API calls. This integration significantly reduced the operational workload on the team and minimized on-call incidents.
- Built and released two versions of Envoy, which is the primary product for AWS AppMesh, including one with ARM support.
- Successfully built and launched the AWS AppMesh service in the China regions in a remarkably short time frame. Simultaneously, automated the infrastructure for all the various AWS partitions, while also ensuring compliance with local government guidelines and policies.

- Mentored two engineers in the team over the course of one year
- Heavily revamped the operational tooling and scripts to keep up with automation and latest AWS strategies.
