• At SUTV, my home base in student media, I’ve had the chance to dive into nearly every corner of live and field production. While my main role has been behind the camera—capturing everything from high-energy football games to intense basketball matchups—I’ve also stepped into a variety of crew roles including teleprompter operation, set design, lighting, audio mixing, and live graphics. I’ve covered a wide range of sports like field hockey, swimming, soccer, and more, building experience in fast-paced, real-time broadcasting environments.

• As the gaffer and grip for the feature film Guilty Victim, I was part of a tight-knit crew that worked across eight different locations, clocking over 120 hours in a single intense, rewarding week of production. I handled lighting setups, rigging, and supported the DP in crafting the visual tone of each scene. My role extended beyond grip and electric—on some days, I stepped in to assist with sound, boom operation, and anything else the set needed. I’ve always been eager to learn every part of the filmmaking process, and this project gave me hands-on experience in nearly all aspects of production.
• Although I volunteered my time, the experience was invaluable. I built strong industry connections, adapted quickly under pressure, and even served as an on-set EMT during a minor medical situation, ensuring the safety and continuity of the shoot. This project deepened my appreciation for collaborative storytelling and showed me just how much I love being on set, no matter the role.

I was responsible for setting up cameras in various fields before game day, ensuring everything was ready for optimal coverage. I also packed and organized equipment trucks for other camera operators to easily access on game day. Additionally, my role involved traveling to different states to handle on-site camera setups as needed.
