I gained insight into the social, psychological, and systemic forces that influence our perspectives and behavior, which I utilize in both my personal and professional life on a daily basis. These insights, as well as my 12 years of experience, passion for learning, determination, and approachable demeanor have molded me into a prosperous sales consultant, as evidenced by my success as New Standard's top performer company wide.
My current position is at New Standard, where I consult guests in making confident decisions about which products will best fit their therapeutic and recreational needs. Here, I have excelled through consistently achieving the highest grossing monthly revenue and highest average baskets company wide. My responsibilities require diligent adherence to state and federal law, which I must emphasize during new employee onboarding and task delegation. Additionally, I participate as a member of the sales merchandising team. This role involves creative display and distribution of product and sales information to staff and patrons, as well as taking inventory of and updating menus using Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets. Occasionally, customer support and positive de-escalation is necessary when guests receive faulty products or when an inefficiency occurs or is perceived to have occurred. As a member of the delivery team, I complete and file documentation for every order to ensure strict compliance with state regulations. Additionally, I have been pro-active in taking on the not yet official role of delivery manager, which has provided experience in brainstorming and enacting standard operating procedures, delegating tasks, and facilitating meetings.
