My name is Shanay Schambach, and I am seeking a career as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my MSN from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, and I passed the PMHNP boards on May 12th. I am waiting to receive my credentials from the Florida Board of Nursing.
I performed over 700 hours of precepting at Centerstone Behavioral Health Center involving children, adolescents, and adults. Of those hours, 150 hours were spent precepting with an LMHC. During my time at Centerstone, I was lucky enough to work with individuals with severe Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, Schizoaffective bipolar disorder, personality disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and anxiety/depression. I am extremely excited and ready to begin my career as a PMHNP. I will dedicate my time and energy to helping and providing individuals with comprehensive, safe, and compassionate mental health care.
