Seasoned administrative professional with more than 8 years providing high-level administrative support to senior leaders in the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration and nearly 20 years’ clinical and administrative experience in healthcare. Provide direct support to the Associate Director of Patient Care Service (ADPCS), a key member of the Healthcare System’s Executive Leadership team. Primary point of contact for the ADPCS and liaison to ADPCS direct reports to include 12 service chiefs and 400 supporting staff members with a variety of administrative needs by preforming specialized, and various tasks of an administrative nature to aid in the daily ADPCS operations.
· Provide project management and correspondence support, tracking and analysis, TMS Coordinator, timekeeping, and scheduling for the ADPCS, using extensive knowledge of VA administrative practices, correspondence, and suspense systems.
· Exercise independent decision making in routing and assigning actions, timelines, and suspense dates on all correspondence. Request and collect data and prepare reports using available information technology while keeping the team on track to meet submission deadlines.
· Establish and revise Executive Leadership Team schedules with the authority to make commitments of time. Complete business involving establishing policy or routine matters without direct referrals to the Executive Leadership Team.
· Maintain files including VACO directives, medical center policies, and accreditation standards.
· Ensure that copies of all Executive Leadership Team member's correspondence are filed.
· Review electronic mail and assigns action as appropriate. Review and determine which correspondences are prepared for the Executive Leadership Team's attention.
· Independently assemble materials presented to various committees, councils, and boards the Executive Leadership Team participates in.
· Arrange conferences, meetings, and travel for the Executive Leadership Team Members and for direct reports of the Executive Leadership Team member's employees when appropriate.
· Analyze, develop, and inform employees of evidence requirements needed to process a claim for employee benefits and/or services and assist employees with completion of the application and other forms.
· Provide timekeeping for the Executive Leadership Team's direct reports. Ensure clarity, completeness, grammatical, and procedural correctness, and technical accuracy and returns inaccurate submissions for corrections.
· Attend, record, and prepare agendas and minutes of meetings for approval.
· Serve as the Executive Secretary, as related to Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and Secretary for the (NPSB) Nurse Professional Standards Board.

Integral member of the Social Work Service Line (SWSL) Executive Team as the primary point of contact (POC) for the SWSL, MH Specialty VCU, and work under the direction of Assistant Chief of Social Work Service. Provided support to over 330 employees by preforming specialized, and various tasks of an administrative nature to aid in the daily operations of the service line.
· Conducted fact finding and analytical situations for assigned Veterans Care Unit (VCU) and reported all findings to the Assistant Chief of Mental Health, VCU.
· Coordinated out day-to-day administrative operations within the office of SWSL collaborating with members within the SWSL Executive Office, collaborating with members within the service line as well as individuals from various backgrounds and all levels of the organization via oral and written communication.
